Alas=Ramus (アラス・ラムス, Arasu Ramusu) is the appointed daughter of Sadao Maou and Emi Yusa. She is a fragment of Yesod, one of the elements of Sephiroth.
Appearance
Alas=Ramus takes the appearance of a purple eyed two-year-old girl, with long, silver-colored hair that has purple strands in the front. While she wears various kinds of dresses, Alas=Ramus is often seen wearing her iconic yellow, sleeveless dress which reaches just below her knees with matching shoes. She's also been wearing various types of hair accessories, like hair clips, a bow in her hair or a straw hat to protect her from the sun.
History
Around 300 years ago, Laylah, Emilia's mother, met and rescued a young Satan from the brink of death upon the destruction of his tribe by a random rogue demon. She oversaw his recovery back to full health, sharing with him much knowledge in the process. Before she left, she gave him a purple crescent-shaped crystal. During the course of the next hundreds of years, Satan rose as the Demon Lord, recruited other demons as his army, and gradually united the demon race into one single empire using the knowledge Laylah imparted to him. He planted the crystal in a garden within his castle, and it grew into a tree. All that time, Satan had no idea that it was a Yesod fragment.
Trivia
- In the central trade language of Ente Isla, 'alas' means 'wings', while 'ramus' means 'branch.'
- Alas Ramus appears to be very similar, in both appeance and traits, to Celine of To Love-ru. Both of them have plant-like origins, their basic traits are that of a toddler, and both see the main male character as a father.
- Acording to Rika, Alas=Ramus' eyes and mouth resemble Emi's, while her forehead and eyebrows resemble Maou's.
