Ignora (イグノラ) is the leader of the angels and Lucifer's mother. She's the main antagonist of the story.
Background
Ignora was a very skilled magic user and scientist on her home planet. She and Sataniel were trying to find a way to reach immortality in order to save their race. They soon discovered the existence of the tree of life on the moon, thanks to Ignora's two assistants: Kael and Shekeena, who respectively are the personifications of Yesod and Marut. Ignora and Sataniel were able to finish their research, but the two Sephira tried to stop them by killing as many researchers as possible. In the end the two were defeated, Ignora and Sataniel took their DNA and spread it to the other researchers. As a result she, Sataniel, Gabriel, Sariel, Laylah, Camael and Raguel became immortal. During the research, Sataniel and Ignora eventually fell in love and married. However the humans of their planet became greedy and demanded that they share the research with them. This left the two of them no choice but to flee their home planet by separating the moon. After a while they drifted to Ente Isla, which had only one moon at that time, and the group decided to settle there.
After they settled Ignora and Sataniel had an argument. He wanted to live peacefully as humans in Ente Isla while Ignora looked down to the humans and refused to bow down to them. Sataniel fled with their son and the Yesod fragment, which was Ignora's Ente Isla immortality base.
In order to retried the Yesod Sephira Ignora began to experiment on humans rejected by the Sephira. The failed experiment became later the demons, with uncomplete immortality and other added features. After discovering Ignora's actions, Sataniel and Laylah went berserk. Sataniel freed the victims and formed an army to counter Ignora's. Sadly Ignora killed him during the battle, resulting in the demons and Angels that sided with Sataniel to become scattered in the demon world.
Appearance
When she first appeared in Volume 10, she was described to be a short individual (about Urushihara's size) and wearing an astronaut suit.
Story
Ignora first appeared in Volume 10 but her name was only mentioned in Volume 13.
Because of her orders, the Angels were to protect Ente Isla's humans, making the humans overly dependent on the Angels and they became unable to progress. Thus, the Tree of Life was getting starved and its energy getting over-used by angels and other beings who make use of magic. Sataniel attempted to rebel against her because of this and was killed.
Currently Lailah is carrying out plans to defeat her.
She is shown in Volume 10 to be immensely powerful and only someone as strong as the Landlady was able to make her back off.
